At the Shen Lab, we investigate the causal relationship between genetic and epigenetic variations in regulatory sequences (such as enhancers) in the context of development and diseases.

We are part of the Institute for Human Genetics and the Department of Neurology. We utilize innovative genomic and genetic tools to investigate how regulatory elements affect gene expression in the context of neurological conditions and development.
