Postdoctoral positions:

We are interested in recruiting postdocs who are interested in developing and utilizing innovative functional genomics approaches and stem cell models to investigate genes and non-coding variants associated with complex diseases.

Candidate should have earned a PhD in stem cell biology, molecular biology, genetics, or bioinformatics with one of the following experience:

  • iPSC models, e.g., neurons and brain organoids
  • CRISPR screens and prime editing.
  • Epigenomic mapping and 3D genome analysis
  • Genetics of complex diseases

Graduate students positions:

We are seeking motivated graduate students from TETRAD, PSPG, DSCB, BMI, Neuroscience, and BMS to participate in one of the following multidisciplinary projects:

  1. Investigate the contributions of genetic variations to neurodegenerative diseases, e.g., Alzheimer’s disease.
  2. Study cell type-specific 3D genome architecture during human brain development.
  3. High throughput functional characterization of cis-regulatory elements in the human genome using CRISPR and PRIME editing screens.
  4. Develop novel methods for testing the function of genetic variants at the single-cell level.
